What I Do
My goal is to help your company or organization establish a robust diversity, equity and belonging system by implementing some or all of the following steps:
Establish sustainable employee resource or affinity groups to foster community, support, and representation for underrepresented employees.
Engage in cross-cultural dialogues with leadership, management, and individual contributors to build mutual understanding and improve workplace inclusivity.
Assess how a company’s culture, policies, and leadership structures can perpetuate systemic issues, including white supremacy and other inequities.
Work with HR and Talent Acquisition to develop and enact fair, transparent, and inclusive policies for hiring, retention, and promotion of employees.
Facilitate discussions and workshops on creating an engaged and inclusive workforce where employees feel seen, valued, and empowered.
Create comprehensive performance management systems to hold leaders, managers, and individual contributors accountable for meeting diversity, equity, and inclusion goals and practicing inclusive leadership.
Facilitate separate workshops focusing on gender identity, the use of pronouns, and fostering understanding of the queer community to create safer, affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Conduct workshops on disability justice to address accessibility, challenge ableism, and promote equity and inclusion for disabled individuals in the workplace.
Lead sessions on harm repair and harm reduction practices to address workplace conflicts, rebuild trust, and create systems for accountability and healing.
Mission
My name is Ryan Letts (they/them). I have 5+ years of experience partnering with multinational organizations across tech, government, entertainment, non-profit, government, and educational institutions. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Studies, I forged my accompliceship practice while working on conjunction with the Deaf community at a non-profit support Deaf and hard-of-hearing folks.
My goal is is to empower you and your organization to successfully create and sustain equitable, diverse, and accessible spaces and processes for all people to increase employee retention and engagement. By increasing emotional intelligence, accountability and self-correcting tools, we will breakdown unconscious and internalized biases to dismantle white supremacy and the dominating hegemonic system to create a just organization and world. My approach is one of understanding and compassion, not attacking and demeaning. I believe that we all have the right to be wrong, and once we know better, we can do better.
